Summer 2020 collection
Our new summer collection dedicated to solitude and the search for silence in the era of digital noise. Ten pieces made of natural sand color straw, complemented by brown and black, dyed using the Hand Dyed technique. Each hat is created by hand, and the entire process — from sketching to the final product — is performed by the designer Stas Shmelevsky himself.
The hats have smooth asymmetric shapes and are decorated with linen ribbons of natural shades. The main feature of those ribbons is the knotted stitches, hand-sewn with a colonial knot — 21 for one ribbon. The creation process returns us to the concept of the English art movement "Arts & Crafts", which is based on the idea of handcrafted products superiority over industrial products.
